Eliana Avila is part of Raiz FCU’s (formerly TFCU) Senior Management Team filling the position of Vice President of Human Resources.  She has over 20 years of experience in the credit union industry working more than 17 of those years in the Human Resources Department.  Eliana has fulfilled the roles of Human Resources Assistant, Human Resources Generalist, and Human Resources Manager prior to her promotion to Vice President.  Through her tenure, she has gained extensive knowledge in employee benefits, payroll, human resources regulatory compliance, and employee relations issues. Eliana received her Bachelor’s Degree in Public Relations with a minor in Business Administration in 2004 followed by a Master of Business Administration in 2023 from the University of Texas at El Paso.  She also earned her Professional in Human Resource Management (PHR) certification in 2012 and her SHRM-CP certification in 2015 from the Society for Human Resource Management. Eliana stays active in the community through the El Paso Society of Human Resource Management (EPSHRM), serving as Treasurer on the Executive Board. She is also part of the El Paso Greater Chamber of Commerce Education and Workforce Committee.
